la musica...una lingua universale
questa settimana abbiamo due musicisti ed una cantante…una bellissima ragazza bionda con una voce splendida…e una gran passione per il canto, ha subito trovato due degni accompagnatori, muniti di chitarra e instancabili….passano i pomeriggi sotto il leccio suonando e cantando , con un grande gradimento degli ospiti, che si fermano ad ascoltare…l’unica a lamentarsi la moglie del chitarrista che sta passando le vacanze da ” single”, visto che il marito e la figlia sono sempre a suonare e cantare…..ma forse anche la signora apprezza….un po di tranquillità…
what it is? it’s a way to make our guests happy and glad to be here, we prepare some of our tuscanian specialities, quite a lot of food, if you really want to know, some small bites of bruschetta with home grown tomatos, some bruschetta with home grown olive oil, pasta, ham and much more, all what our imagination suggest us to prepare, and of course some of the local wines, white and red….as i alway say, it is not a profesional wine tasting , it want be a way to enjoy a couple of hours tasting some food, wine and the good company, to know each other…and it seams that our guests like it very much, as there are always plenty of them with us….
la piscina
anche quest’anno per Ferragosto organizzeremo un piccolo rinfresco in piscina, tuttti i nostri ospiti sono invitati a partecipare. Fra musica, qualche bocconcino sfizioso e una bibita , passeremo il pomeriggio di ferragosto tutti insieme sul bordo piscina, sperando che il tempo non faccia brutti scherzi. Si prevede un ” fritto misto” di nazionalità, in quanto per la settimana prossima attendiamo ospiti da tanti paesi diversi, Italia, Spagna, Danimarca, Norvegia, Olanda, Germania,Francia e Svezia….tante culture e tante lingue a confronto, accomunate da una festa italiana .
happy hour 03 agosto 2010
questa settimana è insolitamente tranquilla, pur essendo la struttura al completo non si sente ne si vede nessuno, sono tutti in giro oppure talmente tranquilli che pare che non ci sia nessuno, anche qualche ospite si meraviglia della pace e calma che si sente in tutta la struttura, la piscina è semi vuota, e anche la sera, quando si accendono le luci nell’acqua ci sono pochi nuotatori che approfittano dell’occasione di un bagno in notturna. Anche il nostro happy hour, di solito affollato, questa settimana è stato ” abbandonato”, comunque ci siamo divertiti anche con i 15 partecipanti presenti…e stasera si replica, su richiesta dei nostri ospiti svedesi, una piccola lezione privata in cantina sul vino rosso…presenta Marcella, traduce Silvia e si divertono gli ospiti…

the month is almost finish, our danish friends are back to work and we feel “lonely”…we were so use to have all their known faces arround that now, when we pass in front of the apartments we miss them …and there are still a lot of months before we will see them another time..we had so good time toghether, and we enjoyed also a danish lunch with them, that was really nice!see you , friends…
Quarrata's girls...
friday night all the Quarrata’s beauties had an appointment by the pool, enjoing the pool party, with music, fun and good company we passed a few hours dancing, laughing and chatting all toghether…that was a nice evening …we organize the pool party to say THANK YOU to all our guests, wich are coming from years and years to our place,and most become a part of the family…as they call themselves “the Quarrata family”…so nice from them…thank you girls, we love you! marcella and silvia

all of you!!! how nice to be at the pool party on friday night, music , good food and so many friends, we have had a lot of fun…dancing, joking and of cours we had our bike team getting their gold medals…and it seams they were very proud of the medals…as if it was a real gold…not a ” tin bottom”, thank you for being here and thank you for be such a good friends of tenuta quarrata and ours….see you next year…and the next weeks we will miss you all!!
